Dr. Harris has been serving Alaska, Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Texas, and Vermont as a clinical social worker, and has over 15 years' experience. Dr. Harris has dedicated her professional career to supporting individuals reach their mental health goals. Dr. Harris has specialized training in conducting immigration evaluations, supporting the work needed in your journey. When Dr. Harris is not conducting evaluations, she is working in public education servicing children, teenagers, families, and school systems. 

Albie, owner and lead educational consultant at Harris & Associates has over 30 years of experience in education serving as a teacher, coach, principal, and district administrator. Albie specializes in coaching administration and teachers during the more difficult times in the field when there are issues related to DCF, the union, and termination. Albie also works with families to support them with expulsion and special education non-compliance. Albie supports districts and educators with curriculum, instruction, and special projects. 

Jorge is a founding partner of Harris & Associates. In 2021 Jorge joined the team after moving to the United States from Cuba. Jorge offers support with community relations, communications, and multimedia. Jorge is a new arrival assimilation expert and supports clients through the cultural challenges faced when arriving in the United States. Jorge has extensive expertise in supporting the Cuban population through the asylum process. 

Tammy is the Business Operations Analyst for  Harris & Associates. Tammy has over 18 years of experience with billing, Behavioral Health insurance, accounts receivables and payables, and accounting. Tammy shares a passion for supporting all those in asylum cases to find a way to pay for services. 

  Since 2020, María Smith has served as a senior Immigration Process Specialist at Harris & Associates, providing essential leadership across both administrative and clinical operations. In her role, María supervises administrative staff, manages client onboarding, oversees the collection and organization of legal and clinical documentation, and ensures evaluators are fully supported with the materials needed to conduct comprehensive assessments. She coordinates directly with attorneys, clients, and clinical teams to maintain high standards of quality and compliance. Through her leadership, Harris & Associates delivers timely, evidence-based immigration evaluations that support vulnerable individuals and families in navigating complex legal processes. 

   Multidisciplinary Program Specialist – Education, Outreach, and Operations

As a Multidisciplinary Program Specialist at Harris and Associates, Shantae brings a unique combination of skills as an experienced special education teacher, administrative leader, and digital influencer to support the firm’s mission of providing trauma-informed immigration psychological evaluations. With a background in educational advocacy and a deep understanding of neurodiverse needs, Shantae plays a vital role in enhancing the firm’s operational systems, family-centered communication strategies, and public outreach.

    Expert Medical Contributor – Physical and Mental Health Collaboration 

 Danielle Mallory is a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years in healthcare, specializing in health promotion, chronic condition management, and disease prevention. As a medical contributor to the immigration psychosocial evaluation process, she collaborates with mental health professionals to ensure a holistic view of each client’s physical and emotional well-being. Danielle is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve optimal health, even in the face of adversity. 

     Internal Support & Culture Coordinator 

Valorie DiTomaso is the heart of Harris & Associates — the steady, caring presence who holds the team together both emotionally and operationally. With a natural gift for nurturing relationships and anticipating needs, Valorie keeps things running behind the scenes while making sure everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.

Part logistical coordinator, part team mom, Valorie brings the kind of grounded support that creates calm in the chaos. From organizing daily workflows to checking in on colleagues during tough weeks, she embodies the spirit of compassion and connection that makes the workplace feel more like a community.

Her role isn’t defined by a title — it’s defined by how deeply people rely on her presence, how often she lifts others up, and how quietly essential she is to the team’s wellbeing and success.
